Origins and identity
Since 1960, Navanzino has been synonymous with traditional and artisanal artistic ceramics.
Today, the company continues to cultivate art following in the footsteps of master Francesco (1948 - 2023) founder of the business in 1974, through the mastery imparted with love and professionalism to his family.
The Ceramiche Navanzino logo was created to express our deep roots in Caltagirone. We drew inspiration from the city’s coat of arms—a crossed shield flanked by two griffins—replacing the cross with the Cross of Santiago de Compostela, as a tribute to the pilgrims we welcome into our workshop. At the bottom, the number 1960 marks the year our founder began his craft. On every handcrafted piece, the hand-painted logo also includes the current year.
